I love the Lord…

I love the Lord, because He has heard [and now hears] my voice and my supplications. Because He has inclined His ear to me, therefore will I call upon Him as long as I live. The cords and sorrows of death were around me, and the terrors of Sheol (the place of the dead) had laid hold of me; I suffered anguish and grief (trouble and sorrow). Then called I upon the name of the Lord: O Lord, I beseech you, save my life and deliver me! Gracious is the Lord, and [rigidly] righteous; yes, our God is merciful. Psalm 116:1-5 what shall I render to the Lord for all His benefits toward me? [How can I repay Him for all His bountiful dealings?] Psalm 116:12

What shall I render to the Lord for all his benefits? “What can I give back to God for the blessings he has poured out on me?” Are we grateful? God is so faithful to us and yet we tend to take life for granted. How much praise do we actually give unto the Lord? Do we worship him with our lives? We could never payback what he has done for us there is no price. For the price has already been paid on the cross.

He loves us so much, he continues to protect us, and care for us, provide for us. He continues to show us grace and mercy. Let us not become proud in thinking God owes us anything. Jesus shed blood paid the price. However, our lives should be examples of God’s faithfulness. Let us honor him as living sacrifices holy and acceptable unto God.

Prayer:

Lord we love you and honor you. Father we praise you and give you all the honor that is due unto your name. We come before you today asking you for nothing buy, giving you thanks for all you have done in our lives, for keeping us day to day, thank you for your protection, for your provisions, for your healing’s, for your mercy, for your guidance and most of all we thank you for salvation in Jesus name amen.
